Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers are educational programs for young children. In addition to our tuition based education programs, we also partner with Michigan Department of Education to provide prekindergarten education through the Great Start Readiness Program.

2. What type of Professional development do you provide?
Professional development opportunities are one way we provide support for our teachers. We provide opportunities for you to learn and grow professionally with the High Scope curriculum. We also provide onsite coaching and mentoring with our early childhood specialist who is available to all staff regarding the curriculum and best practices for children. Heartfelt provides reflective practice groups for teachers to come together to connect, reflect and support each other in areas they want to grow.
3. When are teachers able to complete their lesson plans?
We provide planning time for our teachers weekly. This ensures teachers can plan developmentally appropriate activities for the children based on their interests.
4. What would my workday look like and how many teachers are in the classroom at a time?
The number of teachers in the classroom is determined by state licensing ratios. We strive to have a consistent schedule for the teachers in each classroom. This provides stability for the teaching staff, children and families.

6. What type of curriculum do use in your program?
At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center we use the High Scope Curriculum. This curriculum promotes independence, problem solving, decision making and creative thinking through hands on learning experiences. We provide endless learning opportunities where children can apply these skills during Small Group, Large Group, Outside Time, Plan-Do- Review time, transition times, as well as eating and rest time. We strive to provide learning opportunities based on the children’s interest.
